Review
The Fitbit Inspire 2 is a slim, comfortable, and cheap watch with a variety of useful functions.
Narrow display
The Inspire 2’s display is PMOLED, which has lower resolution than a more expensive AMOLED display. The screen is 1.4 inches wide, making it difficult to see for far-sighted persons. Although bright and vivid, its little screen can’t display a lot of data, so you’ll have to swipe through each data field one by one. Regrettably, the screen is grayscale rather than color. Swipes and taps are responsive enough on the touch screen. Matters are enhanced because using the program to review data allows you to integrate any collected data.
Compatible with smartphone
You’ll be able to receive calendar, text, and call notifications on your watch once you’ve paired your Inspire 2 with your smartphone. When you get a call, you can answer it on your watch, but it will be transferred to your cell phone. You’ll only be able to see the first 250 characters of text and calendar notifications. Notifications will appear on your tracker as long as your watch is within 30 feet of your associated phone. The Inspire 2 may save up to ten notifications at any given time.
Decent battery life
The Fitbit Inspire’s battery can last up to 10 days. The tracker has the longest battery life of any Fitbit device, lasting up to 10 days on a single charge, which is double the previous model’s battery life. The Inspire 2’s lithium-polymer battery only takes about two hours to fully charge.
Water-resistant
The watch can withstand up to 5 ATM/50 meters of water. “Although you can shower while wearing your tracker, not doing so decreases the chance for exposure to soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, which might cause long-term harm to your tracker and may cause skin irritation,” the company says.
Free year of FitBit Premium
Fitbit Premium, which normally costs $9.99 per month, is included for a free period of one year with the Inspire 2.
Health and fitness tracking
Aside from the standard step counting, distance tracking, and calorie burn stats that you’d expect from a fitness tracker, the Inspire 2 has a few more features. The Inspire 2 doesn’t come with built-in GPS, but it can sync with the GPS on your phone. When connected to your phone, it will, nonetheless, be able to determine your location. This is cumbersome for people who do not want to have to carry their phones everywhere with them to track their running routes. It’s also missing an altimeter. On the downside, some users have claimed that the tracker vibrates too much for them.
