Review
The Amazfit Band 5 is a good fitness tracker with a lot of features, good waterproofing, and a comprehensive health app to help you understand what you’re doing. With the Amazon Alexa function and controls for music applications, events, and, strangely enough, the ability to use it as a remote control for your smartphone camera, there’s little doubt that this is a great deal.
Alexa built-in feature
The built-in Alexa is another significant feature of the Amazfit Band 5.
Extended Battery Life
The Amazfit Band 5 has a battery life of up to 15 days on a single charge, which is more than double that of the Fitbit Charge 4. With Amazfit’s unique charger, charging takes less than two hours. The battery life is outstanding. For charging, a special magnetic charging puck attaches to any USB port.
Nice Display
The Amazfit Band 5 has a bright and vivid AMOLED display. You can also select from a variety of virtual watch faces. The watch face, on the other hand, has small writing and the display is difficult to view in direct sunlight. The watch does not have high-resolution graphics.
Smart features
Notifications, phone alerts, and meeting reminders are among the watch’s other smart functions. A text message cannot be replied to, whereas a phone call can be declined. You can also manage music playback and the camera shutter on your phone.
Touchscreen is responsive
Swiping up and down cycles through a list of apps such as alerts, events, heart rate, and other essentials on the Amazfit Band 5’s touchscreen interface, which is simple and responsive.
Fitness and health tracking available
The Amazfit Band 5 checks a lot of boxes when it comes to fitness. It monitors your biometrics for overall health 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It monitors heart rate, blood oxygen levels, steps, and sleep, among other things. It does not, however, have GPS. And the fact that you’d have to manually activate exercise modes is a disadvantage.
