Review

With a lot of amazing specs and features, the Garmin Venu 2 is one of the most versatile smartwatches on the market.

Great Display

The Garmin Venu 2 is a great improvement on the features of the previous versions. It has a more friendly and pleasing interface. However, it still has a few noticeable bugs.

Health and Fitness Tracking

When you live a healthy lifestyle, you live a better life. This smartwatch includes advanced health monitoring and fitness features that will help you understand what’s going on inside your body.

It includes over 25 built-in indoor and GPS sports apps, including walking, running, cycling, HIIT, swimming, golf, and many others. You can check your blood oxygen saturation using the Pulse Ox sensor3. Find out if you’re having a calm, balanced, or stressful day using the stress tracker. When the watch detects that you are stressed, it will even prompt you to do a short breathing exercise.

Log symptoms to easily track your menstrual cycle or pregnancy, and get exercise and nutrition education, among other things. With the Women’s Health Tracking app, you can even see and log details on your wrist. You can also keep track of your daily fluid intake to remind yourself to stay hydrated. You can even set an automatic hydration goal based on how much you sweat during activities.

See how you’re breathing throughout the day, during sleep, and during breathwork and yoga activities with the respiration tracker. Other features include a sleep score and advanced sleep monitoring, wrist-based heart rate monitoring, and mindful breathing.

Access to a Garmin Coach

You can get a free personal running coach on your wrist to help you train for your next 5K, 10K, or half-marathon.

Smart Notifications

When paired with an Apple or Android smartphone, you can receive emails, texts, and alerts directly on your watch. If you have an Android phone, you can even respond to texts.

Listen to Music on the Go

You can download up to 650 songs to your watch, including Spotify, Amazon Music, or Deezer playlists (a premium subscription may be required), and pair them with wireless headphones (not included) for phone-free listening.

Incident Detection

If you feel unsafe or your watch detects an incident, the assistance and incident detection features notify emergency contacts of your location. Incident detection is enabled by default for only a subset of activity profiles. When paired with a compatible Smartphone, safety and tracking features include incident detection (during outdoor activities) and assistance, both of which send a message with your current location to your emergency contacts.

Join the Garmin Community

The Garmin Connect app is a thriving online community where people on the go can connect, compete, and share their experiences. In the Garmin Connect app on your compatible smartphone, you can build your own workouts from over 1,400 exercises. Then save them to the watch.

Battery Life with Rapid Recharging

With up to 11 days in smartwatch mode, up to 22 hours in GPS mode, and up to 8 hours in GPS mode with music, you can get an uninterrupted picture of your health. Ten minutes of charging equals one day’s worth of smartwatch mode battery life or one hour’s worth of GPS with music battery life.
